Cecil Combs Services Today
Services for Cecil W. Combs, 66, a retired officer of Third National Bank, will be at 1 p.m. today at Mashall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Combs, of 1102 Graybar Lane, died Saturday in Baptist Hospital after a heart attack.
A native of Berea, Ky., Combs was a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he was an All-Southeastern Conference basketball player and a member of the SAE fraternity.
He came to Nashville in February 1949 with Third National Bank and became senior vice president of the finance department.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jane Cambell Combs; three daughters, Mrs. R.A. Frazier, Chattanooga, Mrs. Sidney Combs Vance, Palm Beach, Fla., and Miss Sally Rachel Combs, Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Smith, Lexington, Ky., and Mrs. A.W. Walker, Goldsboro, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
