Col. Clarence O. Applegran, 66, of 1805 E. 72d St., former South Shore High School football and basketball coach, died Friday and will be buried at 1 p.m. Monday from the chapel at 7tth and Jeffery. Applegran served in World Wars I and II and was prominent in South Side sports coaching.
